How to choose a casting for your stones
Suggestions are approximate. Mirando must confirm the stone’s cut, depth and final fit before ordering. Stone quantity and finished jewelry length also need confirmation.
How sizes are compared
We compare the stone specifications listed in the catalog. Unclear sizes are left out. Nearby sizes are starting points for an enquiry, not a statement of manufacturing tolerance.
Point and carat entries without a named shape are treated as round diamond sizes. When you enter a diameter, those weights are converted to approximate round diamond diameters using the Stuller size guide. These estimates vary with cut and do not apply to gemstone weights. For other shapes, we compare the listed millimeter dimensions directly.
